Technical Editor Required at Yachting Monthly

Yachting Monthly, the UK's foremost yacht cruising magazine, is looking for a new part-time technical editor.

Yachting Monthly is one of the UK’s biggest selling boating titles and has been running for nearly 120 years, providing yacht sailors with expert seamanship, cruising, technical and practical advice, as well as entertainment and inspiration.

Reporting to Yachting Monthly's Editor, you'll be responsible for commissioning, editing and writing best-in-class content every month that works for readers and is delivered on time and to budget.

Requirements

• Some experience working in publishing or journalism
• The ability to write high-quality engaging, relevant content
• Strong magazine craft, including an understanding of how to tell a story and communicate complex information in words and pictures
• Ability to think commercially
• A conscientious team player with excellent communication and time management skills
